The case
Massage first, head spa second in one appointment
Ask a therapist where desk workers hold tension and you'll hear the same three answers at every table: neck, shoulders, the base of the skull. A 60-minute full-body massage handles the first two well. The third is awkward on a massage table — you're face-down in a cradle, and scalp work through a towel isn't really scalp work. That's the gap the head spa hour closes, face-up at a warm-water basin where massage techniques reach the head properly, with Milbon products and a rinse instead of lotion.

What the combo actually buys you
Here's the part most spa menus keep vague. Soul's combos carry no bundling markup — and no bundling discount either. Combo 5 costs $153 cash because a 60-minute massage is $75, a Signature Head Spa is $78, and seventy-five plus seventy-eight is one hundred fifty-three. Card pricing works the same way: $85 plus $88 is $173. You aren't paying extra for the packaging, and we aren't pretending the packaging is a sale.
So what is the combo for? Scheduling. Booked separately, two services are two reservations that may not line up — a 3 PM massage and a 6 PM scalp session is an afternoon lost to the waiting area. Booked as Combo 5, both stations are held consecutively under one name. The AMTA's position is that massage supports health and wellness best as an ongoing practice, not a one-off — and practices survive on logistics staying easy.
The longer stacks do add something free. Combo 2 slots a 30-minute foot massage between the two halves — 150 minutes, $193 cash — and includes a steam eye mask at no charge. Combo 1 is the full three hours: massage, Signature Head Spa, and a 60-minute Moisturizing Facial for $263 cash, steam eye mask included there too. How to read it

One pattern worth noticing before you choose: every single combo includes the 60-minute Signature Head Spa. It's the fixed point of the system — the massage, foot massage, and facials rotate around it. Three groups, mostly. People whose tension spans back and scalp — one service alone keeps solving half the problem. Gift-givers, because a two-hour appointment lands better than an object; gift certificates run through Square and cover any dollar amount. And pairs: the studio has a private couples room for the massage half — no treatment room here is shared with another booking — and can host 5 to 10 head spa guests at once, so two people running Combo 5 in parallel is a phone call away, not a logistics project.
