Most questions fall into three buckets. Price questions — why every service shows two numbers and what paying cash saves — are answered right on the menu. Where-and-when questions live on the studio pages, each with its own hours, phone number, and booking link. Gift questions have a page of their own, since certificates are bought through Square and spend at all four studios. Everything else sits below, in the order people usually ask.
One question that comes up before any of those, usually asked half-apologetically: is the room private? It is. Every service here happens behind a door that stays closed, and no room is shared with another guest — two people booking together get one room with two tables rather than a spot on an open floor.

Can I walk in without an appointment?
Yes. All four studios take walk-ins whenever a room and therapist are open. Booking ahead is smarter for 90-minute rituals, couples sessions, and groups, since those hold rooms longer. What are your hours?
Every studio is open seven days a week, but the clocks differ. Mill Creek runs the longest day: 9:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Everett opens at 10 AM and closes latest, at 10 PM. Kirkland is 10 AM to 9:30 PM, and Lynnwood is 10 AM to 9 PM. Pick your studio by which end of the day you need.
Why are there two prices on the menu?
Cash pays $10 less on every service — the $78 Signature Head Spa becomes $88 on a card. Combo packages are the one exception, where the gap runs $10 to $30. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, debit or credit. The lower number on any price block is always the cash price.
What is the cancellation policy?
Give us 24 hours' notice and there's no charge — life happens, reschedule freely. Cancel inside the 24-hour window and we bill 50% of the service price, because the room and therapist were held for you. A no-call no-show is charged in full. Refunds, when they apply, are issued as service credit rather than cash.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes. Buy online through Square — the Gift Cards page on this site links straight to it — or in person at the front desk of any studio. A certificate purchased at Kirkland spends just as well at Everett, Mill Creek, or Lynnwood. They're a steady favorite for birthdays and holidays because the whole menu is fair game.
Can we book a head spa for a group?
Yes — one studio can host a group of 5 to 10 guests at the same time, which covers most birthday parties and bridal groups. Head spa is priced per person, so a party of six is 6 × $78 = $468 cash and a party of ten is $780. There's no separate group rate and no group discount. Groups are arranged by phone or text rather than the online calendar — send the studio your headcount, the ritual you want, and a target time.
Do you have couples rooms?
Every studio has a private room built for two, with the door closed and nobody else in it. Side-by-side couples massage runs $150 cash for 60 minutes, $210 for 90, and $290 for 120 — card prices sit $10 higher. Private rooms are the rule for every treatment we do, not just couples work — no room is ever shared with another guest. Friends and family pairs book the two-table room as often as couples do, and nobody checks your relationship status at the door.
Can kids get a head spa or massage?
Children are welcome at all four studios, with one firm rule: a parent or guardian must accompany any minor for the visit. Head spa tends to be the family favorite — warm water and scalp massage rather than deep pressure work. Text or call ahead with ages and party size so the studio sets up the right rooms.
Is a tip included in the price?
No. Gratuity isn't built into the $78 head spa or anything else on the menu. Tipping is customary in this industry and genuinely appreciated, but it's never required and never assumed. If you'd like to leave one, the front desk can sort it out at checkout — the amount, and the decision, stay entirely yours.
Do you accept insurance?
Not by billing it for you. Soul doesn't submit claims to health plans — you pay at the studio, and we hand you an itemized superbill for a therapeutic massage session to send in yourself. HSA and FSA cards are taken at the front desk of all four studios too. Whether any of it comes back is your plan's decision, so ask them what they want on the receipt. None of this gates the appointment: no referral, no doctor's note, book a massage like anyone else. Car-accident recovery runs on a separate track — our Everett studio handles clinical PIP (Personal Injury Protection) massage for soft-tissue injuries like whiplash, billed through your auto claim, at (425) 948-5868.
Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card?
Yes — HSA and FSA cards are accepted at the front desk of all four studios. What they're allowed to cover is set by your plan and its administrator, not by us. For massage, that usually means a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor, and relaxation services such as head spa and facials generally aren't eligible at all. Those are your plan's rules rather than ours, so put the eligibility questions to your administrator and ask your doctor about the letter. Booking the massage itself takes nothing extra.
When should I arrive?
Ten minutes before your appointment. That buffer covers check-in, pressure and temperature preferences, and getting you to the right room without rushing. Running late? We'll still take you, but the session ends on time so the next guest starts on schedule — a late arrival shortens your table time, not the price.
