Why here

A head spa on Everett time in Silver Lake

Silver Lake is the working end of Everett — the stretch of the city that runs between SR 99 and I-5, where the errands actually get done. Soul Massage Head Spa sits in the middle of it, at 10315 19th Ave SE, Suite 108, and it keeps hours that match the neighborhood: 10 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week. That 10 PM close is the latest of any Soul studio, and it quietly changes who this room is for.

Schedule aside, “best” has to mean something you can check. Everett is Soul's flagship studio, and it holds a 4.8-star Google rating — read the reviews before you book; they're not curated. In the chair, it means Milbon professional scalp care at every station, a warm hydrotherapy rinse instead of a lean-back salon sink, a genuine head-neck-shoulder massage — the kind of bodywork AMTA links to overall health and wellness — and a Dyson blow-dry with Moroccan hair oil built into the price rather than tacked on at the register. It also means a door. Treatments here run in private rooms, never on a floor shared with whoever else walked in.

Then there's the clock. Everett works in shifts, and a spa that takes its last guest at 5:30 can't serve a city like that. This studio was set up for the other schedule: the day-sleeper booking a late-morning session after a night shift, and the 6-o'clock-quitter who wants dinner first and a head spa after. The 8 and 9 PM start times exist on purpose.

Some context on who's behind it. Soul Massage is a women-owned family business that opened its first room in Mill Creek in 2021 and has grown to four studios since — without changing the recipe. Same products, same ritual structure, same $10-off-cash pricing at every address. Everett is simply the studio that carries that recipe latest into the night.

The ritual

What a 9 PM head spa actually looks like

The ritual itself doesn't change with the hour. Every Soul session runs the same spine — consult, cleanse, exfoliate, massage, treat, rinse, dry — and the four menu options differ in depth and time, not in kind. What changes at Everett is how late you can start one. There's a full step-by-step guide if you want every stage unpacked; here's the short version.

Start to finish, about an hour

Before any water touches your head, your therapist asks two things: how firm you want the pressure, and how warm you want the water. Answer honestly, and change your answer mid-session if you like — discomfort means we stop, no charge. Then the sequence: a Milbon purifying shampoo cleanse, a detoxifying scalp exfoliation, the sustained head-neck-shoulder massage most guests come back for, a conditioning treatment, and the warm rinse under the arch. A basic blow-dry with Moroccan oil closes it out. Sixty minutes covers the Signature; the three deeper rituals run 90.

The last-slot math

Close is 10 PM, so work backwards. In practice the final Signature of the night starts around 9, and a 90-minute Luxury, Chinese Herb, or Deep Clean needs a chair by about 8:30. Booking online shows real-time openings, which beats calling at 8:47 and hoping. The 10-minute-early rule still applies after dark — a late arrival shortens your session, because the close doesn't move.

Wind-down, not treatment

The ritual is a wellness service, not medicine, and we hold that line carefully. Still, the evening booking pattern says something: guests describe taking the 8:30 slot specifically so they can go straight home to bed. If you're curious what research actually says about relaxation practices around sleep, NCCIH's plain-language review of sleep and complementary approaches is the honest place to start — no promises, just evidence worth reading on its own terms.

Getting here

Fifteen minutes from almost everywhere nearby

The Silver Lake address does something useful on a map: it puts the ritual within about 15 minutes of most of Everett's neighbors. Mukilteo, Marysville, Snohomish, and Mill Creek all sit roughly 15 minutes out; Lake Stevens is closer to 20. Coming from Mukilteo, this is your studio — the head spa near Mukilteo page runs the route in detail. South-enders can compare against Mill Creek, which opens half an hour earlier in the morning but also closes half an hour earlier at night.

Access is the corridor's whole point: SR 99 on one side, I-5 on the other, so an evening drive has two ways in. Build in the standard 10-minute early arrival and even a slow Friday on the freeway won't cost you session time.

Book it

Booking Everett online, by phone, by text

Three doors in. Setmore online booking is fastest and shows open stations in real time. A call or text to (425) 948-5868 works too — if we miss your call, text the service you want, your party size, and a preferred time, and we'll confirm. Or walk in when a station is free. Groups run 5 to 10 guests at once; book those ahead by phone rather than stacking a row of online slots. Cancellation needs 24 hours' notice — inside that window a 50% fee applies, and a no-show is charged in full.

Two Everett-specific notes. First, combos: the full service menu pairs the 60-minute Signature with a 60-minute full-body massage — 120 minutes for $148 cash, reserved back-to-back. Second, this studio also runs Soul's car-accident recovery massage program: clinical massage handled under PIP auto coverage, with its own intake. Different service entirely, but it lives in the same suite — worth knowing if the person who needs the head spa also just got rear-ended.

On payment: cash is preferred and earns the $10 discount on every service but the combo packages, which run $10 to $30 off; Visa, Mastercard, and Discover debit or credit all work if you'd rather tap. There are no cash refunds — if something needs making right, it's handled as service credit, and if anything is uncomfortable mid-session you say so and we stop, no charge. Tips are customary and never folded into the listed price.

Everett FAQ

Good questions, straight answers

How late can I book a head spa in Everett?
Later than anywhere else in the Soul family. The studio runs 10 AM to 10 PM every day, so the last 60-minute Signature typically starts around 9 PM and the last 90-minute ritual around 8:30. Book online to see live openings — the evening slots tend to go first.
How much is a head spa at the Everett studio?
$78 cash or $88 card for the 60-minute Signature; $135 cash or $145 card for each of the three 90-minute rituals. The $10 difference is the store-wide cash discount, not a promotion — it applies to every service, every day. Gratuity isn't included.
Does the Everett location have reviews I can read?
Yes — Everett holds a 4.8-star Google rating, and every review is readable before you commit. We'd rather you arrive knowing exactly what other guests experienced than take a landing page's word for it.
Where is the studio, exactly?
10315 19th Ave SE, Suite 108, in Everett's Silver Lake area — the corridor between SR 99 and I-5 at the south end of the city. That puts us about 15 minutes from Mukilteo, Marysville, Snohomish, and Mill Creek, and about 20 from Lake Stevens.
I work nights — can I still fit a session in?
That's this studio's whole reason for the 10 PM close. Day-sleepers book late-morning sessions after a shift; the after-work crowd takes the 7-to-9 window. If your schedule is unpredictable, text (425) 948-5868 with the service, your party size, and a time — texting works even when we can't pick up the phone.
What's this about car-accident massage?
Everett is the Soul studio that runs our clinical massage program for people recovering from car accidents, handled under PIP (personal injury protection) auto coverage. It's separate from the head spa menu — different intake, different paperwork. For regular spa services we don't accept insurance; payment is cash (save $10) or card.
Can a group of us come at once?
A group of 5 to 10 can do head spa at the same time. Call or text ahead instead of booking everyone a separate online slot — we'll block the stations together so nobody waits. Pricing stays per person, so five guests come to $390 in cash, six to $468, and ten to $780. If it's just the two of you, a private room with two tables is the usual answer.
