The service
What a CBD massage actually is no mystery bottle
Plenty of spas sell "CBD-infused" sessions without ever saying what's in the bottle. Here's ours: a 2-oz bottle of hemp-derived CBD cream carrying 250 mg of THC-free CBD, which your therapist works into the focus areas you agree on at the consult — shoulders, low back, calves, wherever the session is aimed. The cream absorbs through the skin at the spot where it's applied. That's the whole mechanism, and it's exactly why we concentrate it on the places you carry tension instead of thinning it across your entire body.
Underneath the cream, this is still a complete massage at our Everett studio. Swedish flow, firmer therapeutic pressure, trigger point work, or a blend — the technique is chosen with you, not locked by the menu line. The CBD changes the surface layer of the session. The hands-on work stays exactly as skilled and exactly as long: 60, 90, or 120 minutes, your call.
THC-free matters to a lot of first-timers, so to say it plainly: the cream is applied to your skin, not ingested, and it contains no THC. You drive home the same person who drove in — ideally with looser shoulders.
The session
How the hour unfolds
The session opens with a short consult: where the work should go, how firm you like pressure, and which areas get the CBD application. Then it runs like any well-built massage — full-body sequence, extra time banked for your focus areas, cream worked in where you asked for it. Nothing performative, no upsell speech mid-session.
Two standing policies shape every table at Soul. First, pressure is a live conversation — say lighter or deeper at any point and it changes immediately, and if a session genuinely isn't working, we stop it and you don't pay. Second, if you book deep tissue under the CBD, the usual honesty applies: some next-day soreness is normal after firm work. Guests who want that firmer style should read the deep tissue massage page — CBD stacks onto it at the same price, so you never have to pick between the cream and the pressure.
Why book it
Why guests choose CBD sessions and what we won't claim
We're careful with claims here, because the honest answer is more useful than the hyped one. The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health keeps a plain-language review of what massage therapy research does and doesn't show, and a separate overview of complementary approaches people try for chronic pain. Read both and a pattern emerges: massage is among the most-studied hands-on practices, and the evidence is strongest for relaxation and short-term easing of muscle tension — not for curing anything. That's the frame we work inside, cream or no cream.
The reasons we hear at the front desk
So why do guests choose the CBD version over the $75 base session? The reasons we hear at the front desk are practical ones. They want the focus-area application on a spot that's been worked hard — a lifting shoulder, a runner's calves after a long training block. They already use topical CBD at home and want it paired with actual massage instead of self-application on the couch. Or they simply treat it as the premium version of their monthly hour. All fair reasons. None of them require a medical promise, and we won't make one.
Who tends to book it
The booking pattern at this studio is steady. Lifters and runners aim the cream at whatever a training block just punished, usually inside a 90-minute slot so the massage has time to cover everything else too. Desk workers point it at the neck-and-shoulder line a monitor builds by Friday. And a quiet contingent books it simply as the upgraded form of their standing monthly hour — $25 over the base massage, worth it to them. Nobody on that list is chasing a cure; they're chasing a better hour.
The studio
The Everett studio on 19th Ave SE
The studio sits at 10315 19th Ave SE, Suite 108, in the Silver Lake corridor just east of I-5. From Mukilteo, Marysville, Snohomish, or Mill Creek the drive runs about 15 minutes; Lake Stevens is closer to 20. Parking is at the suite, not a garage.
What Everett does better than any other Soul location is late evenings. Doors stay open 10 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week — the latest close in the company — which matters for a service people tend to book after work rather than instead of it. An 8:30 PM CBD session on a Tuesday is a normal booking here, not a special request.
Soul Massage has been women-owned and family-run since 2021; Everett is the flagship of the four studios, holding a 4.8-star Google rating, and all four price this service identically. If you want to see the whole massage lineup before committing to a style, start at the massage hub and work down.
Pricing
The $25 rule
The pricing is easier to remember than most spa menus: CBD adds a flat $25 to the base massage at every duration, cash. Sixty minutes moves from $75 to $100. Ninety goes from $105 to $130. A hundred twenty, $145 to $170. Card prices run $10 higher across the board — the $10-off-cash rule covers every service but the combo packages, every day, at all four studios.
Stacking is allowed and priced in plain sight. A 90-minute massage with CBD and hot stone together is $145 cash; swap the stones for cupping and it's $160. At 120 minutes those stacks run $185 and $200. The full enhanced table is below, and the complete price list — head spa, facials, combo packages — lives on the services page.
Book it
Booking a CBD massage in Everett
Three ways in: book through Setmore online, call (425) 948-5868, or text that same number — a text with the service, how many people, and a rough time gets you a confirmed slot fastest if we miss your call. Walk-ins work when a room is free, but evening slots at this studio go first, so booking ahead is the safer play.
Arrive about 10 minutes early so the consult doesn't eat into table time; your start is fixed by the next guest's booking, and late arrivals shorten the session. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice — inside that window a 50% fee applies, and a no-show bills in full. Tips aren't included in any listed price.
